Biomarkers in 2023: Emerging applications

Congratulations to the young researchers who have been selected to present their abstracts in the 4th BMF Young researcher competition, with the theme:Biomarkers in 2023: Emerging applications

Your application should be a maximum of 8 minutes long. To ensure a satisfactory virtual experience, you must pre-record your presentation, which will be played on the day of the meeting at the dedicated timeslot in the conference program.

Pre-recording the presentations will eliminate any potential delays or errors on the day which could occur due to poor connectivity, personal delay, lack of availability, firewall or other issues.

At the end of the session, you will join the jury for for a live discussion of 4 minutes. You need to be available to join live.

The deadline for sending your pre-recording is Friday 11 november.

You need to submit the authorisation form in order to present.

The winner of the competition will be awarded €1,000, and the 2nd and 3rd runner-up will get €500 each.

The winner will need to be available for a short media interview following the conference and will also get a chance to speak at the Biomarkers of the Future 2023 Conference.

If you have not submitted an abstract or you were not selected to present orally, do not worry… submit your e-poster now!

In addition to the Young Researchers Competition, all abstract presenters are invited to submit their posters, regardless of whether they are selected to present in the conference or not).

The e-posters can be in PDF or Video format, they will be displayed on the virtual platform as well as shown during the breaks throughout the conference and will be assessed and voted on by the audience. The top posters will also be awarded a prize money.
